My name is Neil Tremblett and I am 32 years old.  I was born in Toronto, Ont, Canada on June 2, 1975.  I have been in the states now for about 7 1/2 years.  I have lived in Louisville and Burkesville, Kentucky.  I have also lived in Noblesville and Bloomington, Indiana.  I have been a full-time preacher for about 6 years.  Burkesville, Kentucky was my first work as a full-time preacher.  I miss the group as they gave me nothing short of great support.  The group there stood behind me and helped me grow as a preacher and a man/husband working for the Lord.  The Burkesville work was very hard at first.  I had only preached a few lessons before I moved there.  Burkesville has a radio program as well as a place for articles in the local news paper.  When I moved to Burkesville, the only contact with the radio I had was listening to it.  The radio program was a new challenge for me, and at first I felt like someone else should be doing it.
I love hearing lessons on the home.  I did not grow up with a father and mother in my life.  I don't say this for people to feel sorry for me, just to let you all know why I like lessons on the home.  To go with that thought as well, I love when a local church shows this kind of love for each other.  I think Christians have lost sight of the family part of the church!!  I wish more gospel meetings had lessons dealing with "family relationships" in the local church.  After preaching and growing with the church in Burkesville, Heather and I felt it was time to move closer to her family in Madison, Indiana.  Heather's parents have been so good to me.  I have had a troubled past and very little dealings with "close family relationships".  I have had to adjust my way of thinking, as they have taught me what family is ALL about.  I could not have gotten into a better family.  When we first married, Heather wanted to go home to see her family and now I enjoy it just as much as she does.
I started my work here in Bloomington, Indiana in April of 2006.  The men here in the group shared the preaching duties for 5 years.  This was a good thing in my eyes as it showed they were active in the work of the Lord.  As I met with the group here about coming, all of the group said they would support Heather and myself if I walked with the Lord.  Not long after I moved to Bloomington to start my work with this local church, a few of the members said they did not like my style and moved on.  What happened next with the group has only brought a smile to the Lord I know.  We are a much closer group now and I pray as we grow in numbers (which has happened), our love for each other will grow as well.  The group here now has only showed support and love for Heather and I, and for that I can not say thank-you enough.  I pray often that I will be able to stay with this group to see what I know it can be, a group of 150 strong and more.  We have seen this start to happen as the group here has 7 new members.  Two of which were baptized by their father who is a member here.  We have much to be thankful for here in Bloomington.
We as a local church here in Bloomington only hope that if you have kids coming here for school, you will bring them to visit us.  We hope to get a good group of college students coming here and with time we hope we will get the chance to work with many young people.
May God bless all of you who read this!
